Brighton Newborn Photographer | At home session with Nieve and her two sons
In my last blog I mentioned that my editing pile was getting bigger and bigger and, two weeks on, this hasn’t changed! May has been an incredibly busy month for me, which is great, but I’m also starting to realise that it’s hard running your own business - trying to juggle half term at the same time. And then the Summer Holidays are just around the corner, six weeks no school, how’s that going to work?! I’m looking forward to spending the Summer with Ivy though. The sun is out, sea swims are back, we’ve got lots of little trips coming up, and editing can be done after bedtime right?!
But enough about me trying to get some work done. Today on the blog I wanted to share some of my favourite photos of an unposed newborn photo shoot I did in Brighton. It seems like ages ago I photographed Nieve, Louis and Seth. It was one of the first warm days in Spring and I remember it being such a relaxed shoot.
Seth was only a month old and Louis was just getting used to being a big brother. I absolutely adored Nieve’s house, she definitely has an eye for design - I loved all the art on her walls! We started off in the living room as Seth needed a feed, and from then the shoot was basically led by Louis.
As Seth was still so young we decided not to add an outdoor location to Nieve’s newborn session - instead we focused on natural portraits of the boys at home. I’m really happy with how this session turned out and I hope you love the pictures as much as I do!
