I am all about documenting the story of family life. My focus is on providing authentic, honest, and joyful family photography for those families who are seeking professional family portraits that truly capture the uniqueness and spirit of their children and themselves!
There’s no posing required when you book a photoshoot with me; instead, I strive to create a relaxed atmosphere that allows genuine moments to unfold naturally.
I am based in Brighton & Hove, but also work in Lewes, Worthing, Haywards Heath and all over Sussex, London and surrounding areas!
I offer two types of family photoshoots:
Slice Of Life
My Slice Of Life photoshoot is thoughtfully designed to beautifully capture your family in a storytelling, memory-making way.
This is a relaxed, enjoyable, and informal photography session in which I focus on capturing your family portraits in the most authentic and genuine way possible. No posing is required, allowing for a more natural interaction.
This photo session typically lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and can take place at your home and/or out and about in the local area. Together, we will collaborate to come up with a session plan that is perfectly tailored to fit the unique vibe of you and your family.
I often aim to plan this shoot around a family activity that you all enjoy. This could be anything from a trip to Hove beach or exploring the Brighton Pier to a visit to the local playground, depending on what you love doing together as a family.
My ultimate goal is to document your family honestly and objectively, resulting in some gorgeous natural family portraits that you will treasure for years to come.
Morning In The Life
My Morning In The Life photoshoot is a thoughtfully designed and detailed documentary family photoshoot for families who are specifically seeking those genuine, candid pictures that truly capture the essence of real family life.
Documentary Family Photography, often referred to as Family Photojournalism, embraces authenticity and doesn't ask you to be anything other than your true selves.
This session captures just one of your ordinary Saturday or Sunday mornings, with the added presence of a photographer-friend there to artistically and creatively document the genuine moments that showcase the true essence of your family life.
During this 4 to 5-hour family photoshoot, we will explore your morning routines and traditions, allowing ample time to capture those daily moments that make your family uniquely yours.
Whether it’s spending the morning at Hove Lagoon, exploring the Lanes in Brighton, having breakfast at your favourite local cafe, or visiting the Royal Pavilion with the children, each experience will be beautifully captured.
My approach combines elements of documentary storytelling with the elegance of fine art family portraiture, resulting in a stunning series of photographs that collectively tell the heartfelt story of your family.
EXTENDED FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY

Pre-consultation
We’ll discuss your vision for your family photoshoot, location preferences, and I will tell you a bit more about how I work.

Pencil in a date
My diary can fill up quite quickly, so together we can pencil in a date for your family photoshoot as quickly as possible.

The Photoshoot
The fun part! Taking place at home/or a location that feels special to you, be it Hove Beach, a nearby park or the Downs.

Viewing your images
Approx. 3 weeks after the shoot, you’ll be presented with a selection of beautifully edited photos for you to choose from.

Print Orders
All my family photoshoots include complimentary print credit that can be used towards all kinds of gorgeous print products, from framed prints to calendars or greeting cards.
