Photographing Christenings and Baptisms with a documentary approach. I am based in Brighton & Hove, but also work all over Sussex, London and surrounding areas!

Sussex Christening Photographer

If you’re getting your baby boy or girl christened and you would to get the ceremony documented in beautiful pictures then I’d love to hear from you! As in all my family photoshoots, my Christening and Baptism sessions have a documentary approach. I love capturing real emotions so, apart from documenting all the key elements of the ceremony, I also focus on documenting the emotions and interactions of your family and friends.

Most families choose to have both the service and the reception photographed, but if you’d just like the ceremony itself to be photographed then I am more than happy to do so. I start shooting when the guests arrive, document the ceremony and can also schedule in some time to get some group family portraits done afterwards - if this is something that you would like to include as well.

Once you have decided to get the ceremony documented by a professional photographer then it might be a good idea to talk to your vicar or priest to check whether they are happy for you to arrange a photographer. Churches are normally very welcoming and open to having photography, but some venues, such as St Paul’s Cathedral in London, do not allow photography during the ceremony.
