Family Portraits Brighton & Hove | Brighton portrait photography | Doorstep portraits
I am totally guilty of not keeping this blog up to date! These family portraits were taken back in December, when we had only recently moved to Hove. We live in such a lovely street and, as a way of getting to know my new neighbours, I offered everyone a free doorstep portrait. It was my last personal photography project of 2021 and I really enjoyed meeting all the lovely people in my neighbourhood.
I feel incredibly lucky to be a professional family photographer, most of the time it really doesnโt feel like work! Going to peopleโs homes to do a family photoshoot, seeing so many beautiful places, and getting to know so many lovely families really is a privilege. In my opinion, family photos should always look natural. Iโm after those relaxed family portraits, which means I take my time to get to know the people I photograph. Communication is so important during a portrait photoshoot. Itโs all about the relationship the photographer builds with their subject, which is vital when it comes to family photography!
Below youโll find a selection of my Hove street doorstep portraits. I hope you like them as much as I do (my favourite one has to be the picture of the kids jumping!)โฆ
