Recently, my weekends have been filled with lots of family mini photoshoots in London! During these sessions I often photograph former clients - people who have booked me in the past for a family documentary photoshoot. I always feel extremely honoured when people rebook me and it’s so lovely to see how much the children have changed since the last time I saw them. I did a maternity photoshoot for Caren back in September last year and I finally got to meet the twins during their family mini shoot. It was so lovely to see them as a family of four!

As I am a documentary London family photographer, I only offer a few of these family mini photoshoots a year. These are 30 minutes sessions so the focus is less on the documentary aspect of family life, and they are more centred around fun, relaxed and natural family portraits. I offer family mini shoots at locations all over London, but these family portraits are all taken in East Dulwich, South London. As we used to live there I have a lot of clients who live in this area. There are so many lovely parks in and around East Dulwich, but I think my favourite park for these family mini sessions must be Peckham Rye Park.

London family portraits can be taken in so many great outdoor locations in the city though, London is full of gorgeous parks. My next set of London family mini shoots will be done in July - so if you want me to photograph you and your family, then I’d love to hear from you!
