A family mini photoshoot is a wonderful opportunity to capture your family’s unique bond in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Here’s how it typically works:

  1. Booking: You’ll start by selecting a date and time that suits your family’s schedule. It’s advisable to book in advance, especially during peak seasons (Spring and Summer).

  2. Location: I offer these short and sweet family mini sessions in Peckham Rye Park and in Dulwich Park.

  3. Duration: Mini sessions usually last around 30 minutes. This shorter time frame keeps things fun and engaging for younger children while still allowing for a variety of shots.

  4. Relaxed Atmosphere: During the session, I focus on cultivating a relaxed atmosphere that allows your family to feel at ease. My approach is focused on guiding you to interact naturally, which helps in capturing authentic moments that reflect your unique dynamic.

    Rather than posed shots, the emphasis is on spontaneous interactions and genuine emotions, resulting in images that truly represent your family's story.

  5. Viewing and Ordering: After the shoot, you’ll have the chance to review the images, through an online gallery. You can then select your 10 favourite images for digital downloads.

  6. Payment: I take a deposit of £50 to secure your time slot and the balance can be paid after your photoshoot.

Family mini photo shoots are around 30 minutes long and occur on set dates and locations, allowing me to photograph several families in one day. These sessions are offered throughout the year, but Spring and Summer are the most popular due to the vibrant colours in the park. I blend relaxed, natural shots with some traditional family portraits.

What happens when it rains on the day of my shoot?

As we’re living in a country where it does rain, occasionally :-), there is a chance it might rain on the day of your photo session. I don’t shoot in the rain, so in that case your family photo shoot will be rescheduled. I normally make a final decision the evening before so you will be contacted if your shoot is going to be postponed.
